Geology
Short characteristics of the site: Abandoned quarry with exposures of Dynów Marl and Šitbořice Beds. This units belong to the Menilitic Formation of the Ždánice Unit. They consist mainly of calcareous claystones and clayey limestones with laminae of sandstones and cherts. Stratigraphically significant locality.
